چکیده

Energy management in power systems is a thorny optimization problem. With the sizes of rising, centralized methods are restricted by their complexities communications, while distributed have emerged as powerful tool for dealing with increasingly complex systems. However, convergence rates some widely used methods, such standard alternating direction method multipliers (ADMM), still room improvement. In this paper, parallel and energy microgrids (MGs) proposed to boost rate without sacrificing accuracy optima, which agents calculate, exchange update parallel. At first, decomposition presented, where objective functions constraints an original problem separable variables decomposed into local agents, key our method. Further, solve problems independently then determined optima neighbors. Finally, evaluated economic dispatch demand response microgrids. The simulation results show that compared ADMM, given accuracy, number iterations only one third or even less than ADMM. Furthermore, can minimize cost generation on supply side maximize profit flexible loads side.

Distributed Optimization Method for Intelligent Control of DC Microgrids

Most of the distributed energy resources, loads and energy storage systems in a DC microgrid are equipped with power electronic converters. With the integration of advanced power electronics devices, a microgrid is able to utilize a broader range of technologies in its design and operation. A key feature of power electronic converter based systems is the ability to direct energy flow within a s...

Distributed Real-Time Energy Management in Data Center Microgrids

Data center operators are typically faced with three significant problems when running their data centers, i.e., rising electricity bills, growing carbon footprints and unexpected power outages. To mitigate these issues, running data centers in microgrids is a good choice since microgrids can enhance the energy efficiency, sustainability and reliability of electrical services. Thus, in this pap...

Parallel and Distributed Algorithms for Constraint Networks Parallel and Distributed Algorithms for Constraint Networks

This paper develops two new algorithms for solving a nite constraint satisfaction problem (FCSP) in parallel. In particular, we give a parallel algorithm for the EREW PRAM model and a distributed algorithm for networks of interconnected processors. Both of these algorithms are derived from arc consistency algorithms which are preprocessing algorithms in general, but can be used to solve an FCSP...
